Originally built in 1959, 100 University Avenue is a 12-story tower located in the centre of Toronto’s Financial District. In 1994, the building underwent a large-scale renovation, during which it was stripped down to its original concrete frame. The two-year rebuild project was conducted under the design direction of Boris Zarafa. Now, it’s a Class-A building with a striking granite and glass façade that hosts over 294,000 square feet of space.

A great working space in the heart of downtown Toronto! My colleagues and I each purchased an all-day desk and had a lovely time working there. There is a common area and a kitchen where you can get typical drinks like water, coffee and kombucha. Snacks are often around as well. There is also a projector showcasing movies. There are quieter areas with long desks, more socially-oriented areas, and smaller office spaces and rooms you can rent out, depending on what working environment your need and/or prefer. You will need to take the elevator in the North Tower to get to this WeWork, which is clearly indicated in the directory. Happy workin’!

I didn't know what to expect from a coworking space, but I quickly became a fan after joining WeWork at 100 University, three years ago. Pros: - bright, open and welcoming space; - genuinely caring and attentive team; - fun and inclusive events to foster networking and cultivate a sense of community; - feels like a home away from home. Cons: - you may not want to ever work out of any other space after having known the joys of 100U. To say that some of the connections and memories that I have made there are for life is an understatement. Thank you, WeWork fam! You know who you are 🥰

This WeWork location is so welcoming and has a great community vibe. I had the pleasure of attending as a guest during the recent holiday season, and it was amazing to see how dedicated all of the staff were to supporting an optimal environment for everyone. Thank you for the great work you do and I hope to be back in the future!
