I am a jazz pianist, visited San Diego recently with a cruise ship and I needed a place where I could up and download 200 gigs datas within 3 hours. I asked ChatGPT to recommend a place with superfast internet with unlimited data transfer. WeWork came out as best option. The place was really nice, however after registering and paying the day-pass which was very pricey (39$), turns out that the net they provided was extremely slow. 1MB/sec which is ridiculous. It was ok 20 years ago, but in 2026? Starbucks or any restaurant offers better internet for free. I paid 39$ for nothing. Of course I couldn't transfer the files that I needed and my very first 3 hours in the USA went to waste. Well, if you need a fast internet, better to avoid this place.

Update: Not long after posting the review above, a community manager mailed me. He was very apologetic and respectful, offered me a free day pass in any WeWork places in the states. I replied to him 2 months later asking if his kind offer still stands and he replied in no time to tell that yes, it works. I happened to be in Seattle and needed some decent internet, and he made it happen.
Ironically, due to other commitments, I never ended up making it to the Seattle office to actually use the day pass. However, the goodwill and professionalism shown by the company were more than enough to change my perception entirely.

I needed a place to work for a few hours before checking into a conference hotel. So, I'm a first time WeWorker. This place blew me away. It's so nice, so clean, great amenities, wonderful front desk helpers. There are several floors of open space, quiet "phonebooths" for calls, garage doors that open onto a beautiful patio for taking in the fine San Diego weather. A stocked coffee bar. I'm a complete convert. I'll never huddle in another loud, crowded coffeeshop again to get work done.

Space is awesome! Matthew O'Connor specifically was extremely helpful in getting me set up. I went there mainly because my home internet setup was down, and I kept having issues with my work computer. Once I arrived, he checked me in but was also persistent and patient enough to help me through my computer issues. I didnt didnt expect him to help so much or be so understanding but he insisted, and because if his help I was able to complete some vital work just in time. Thank you Matthew, and thanks wework!!!

I have traveled across the continental US and have visited many WeWork offices and my last visit at the San Diego office with Elizabeth and Blake has by far been my favorite. They were so welcoming and inviting to me. They even remembered my name when I came back that following Monday. I not only asked them about WeWork logistic la but what they would recommend me do with my short time there. Elizabeth immediately provided me with a list of over 50 items that’s she love to do in San Diego and gave me some kind of direction to my visit. I cannot recommend this location enough. They are so kind and caring!!

Excellent staff, outstanding workspace! It's been a joy being a member over the years. The Community Team (Blake, Matt and Elizabeth) are truly the best at their craft. Anyone would be lucky to hire them!

Pro tip: very safe parking garage directly under this location! The WeWork itself is very clean and over five floors, plenty of space to spread out, enjoy the nice views of landing airplanes, the outdoor balcony space, and the tiny phone booth spaces for your meeting needs. They have cold brew on tap which is a nice added bonus, and the staff are friendly. Also, dogs are allowed here so bring your pooch. Try it out!
