A note from our Executive Chairman
‘WeWork is in an incredibly unique position. WeWork is a service provider and we have an obligation to keep our buildings open. In the same way we expect certain businesses to remain open for us – whether it be a fulfilment centre to send us a package, a bank so we can handle finances, grocery shops and chemists to supply us our valued goods – we too have members counting on us to remain open so they can run their companies to generate revenue, pay their people and continue serving their customers. Where we believe we can operate our buildings safely, and in accordance with government policies, we will keep those buildings open.’
We are closely monitoring developments around COVID-19 and have implemented measures that prioritise the health of our members and employees.
We are taking cues from and listening to the CDC, WHO and local government.
We’ve implemented a work from home policy, reduced staffing models and restricted travel.
We’re disinfecting common areas more frequently and providing sanitisation products.
All employee and member events are suspended until further notice.

We recognize that while physical distancing may be part of our new normal, collaboration and human connection will remain more important than ever. That’s why we’re increasing sanitization, prioritizing personal space, and implementing “house rules” for health—ensuring that members can continue working in safe and clean environments.
