Very nice space to work. Location is also great.

WeWork has been good overall for my coworking flex space needs, and the concept is excellent. I wanted more seclusion and a place to set up a desk, so I decided to go with the higher monthly amount for a single dedicated personal space. The dedicated space has met my needs, but I do have to admit the walls separating people seem pretty thin. The dedicated space feels a little like a fishbowl, and you can loudly hear the sounds of others moving around or opening and shutting doors, and voices seem to carry through the walls and glass effortlessly. It's probably challenging to plan and account for every detail, so hopefully, you are not sensitive to sounds or vibrations. That said, I would recommend WeWork if your office needs are similar to mine and you have a good pair of headphones. 💻 🎧 ☕

There are a few WeWork locations in town, and having worked from a few of them, this one is probably the best! Even if you have a hot desk membership, there are a lot of spaces to spread out, since they're on a few of the floors. They also have access to the roof deck during summer!
That said, the phone booths are really frustrating if you're a bigger person or use a mobility device; would really be better to have small, one-person conference rooms for the sake of accessibility. If you require an accessible bathroom, you may also have to wait for an elevator and go to a different floor, since there are only accessible bathrooms on two of the floors.
And, as always: it's more expensive than it probably should be.

I’ve been on and off at WeWork for a few years. In early 2021 I rented an office to avoid the construction noise in my condo building. The “offices” in this location are basically glass cages that rattle every time a door slams - which during early 2021 was not much because few people were there. Now that folks are coming in, the noise of slamming doors is constant. WeWork, itself, has nefarious contracts that read “membership” not “lease” so you basically have no tenant rights when you sign - beware of that. Once you are in an office contract, you are stuck and they will charge you 200 dollars every time they allow you to move to a “better more quiet” glass room with no soundproofing. Pros: Mike at the front desk of the Power and Light building is a gem. I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know him during early morning lobby conversations. There is also a very nice gym in the building that WeWork has no control over. The community staff here tries. They are nice folks and are “lenient” about letting you put up acoustical foam and other barriers to try to make your glass cage more like a 750.00 a month office. I’m doing research for the next space I rent while I ride out the rest of my contract.
