WeWork on Spencer Street in the Melbourne CBD is a fantastic coworking space and easily one of the best I’ve used.
The location is incredibly convenient, directly opposite Southern Cross Station, making it super easy to get to via train or tram.
The space itself spans multiple levels, with Level 22 acting as the main hub. It’s a large coworking area with plenty of seating options. The booth seating is especially popular, so I’d recommend arriving early if you want to secure one. There are also smaller private booths with a seat and table, perfect for phone calls or quick video meetings.
Facilities are excellent. There are power outlets at every desk, fast and reliable WiFi, and plenty of meeting rooms across all levels which can be easily booked through the app. There are also shared fridges, printers, free coffee and often complimentary fruit available.
One of the standout features is the sense of community. There are regular monthly events, workshops and social sessions, plus little extras like treat trolleys from time to time which make the experience feel more engaging.
The interiors are colourful and thoughtfully designed, and I genuinely find the environment makes me feel more productive. The on-site team are also incredibly friendly and always happy to help if anything comes up.
A fun bonus at this location is the beer taps available after 4pm, which adds a nice social element at the end of the day.
Overall, an excellent coworking space whether you’re a casual user or looking for a more permanent setup. Flexible memberships allow you to move between locations, and there are also private offices available for small through to larger teams.

The audio in the large conference room on level 22 needs to be fixed. Otherwise all good.

Right in the centre of the CBD.
All that you need for your business needs.
It's not that busy or loud, so you can have your space for calls or meetings.
Many activities are offered by the community managers.

A shared workplace with absolutely stunning view. The co working place is located at 120 Spencer Street, consists of six level up to 22, right opposite of Melbourne's Southern Cross Station - easy accessible. The office interior is Stylish and modern. WeWork co working space on Spencer Street provide beer and cider tap, it is just cool for the co working tenants to have a place to chill after work everyday. Besides that, they have a kitchen where you could do your catering and beverage too! How awesome it is! Plus point, the modern office is dog friendly, bring your dog along if you are lonely. Different size range of the offices are available. Check them out if you need a proper and formal working space.

The team at WeWork are some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Always helpful and full of smiles.
Nothing is to big or too small to help with.
It's lovely to walk into WeWork and feel the happiness and joy emulating from the whole team.
All the events are fantastic and the communication is excellent on all fronts.
WeWork make working in these shared spaces a fun and enjoyable experience. 10/10

Have had the absolute pleasure of renting a desk at this location for the past year or more.
Nice view, aesthetic ,..etc ! But what makes it even better is the community staff.
Staff’s attitude really makes this coworking space more than what it’s worth. On top of providing professional service, they are always fun to talk to, energetic, ready to resolve any queries
John Furno, the community associate at 120 spencer street, the innovative brain behind some of the events at wework, has a great attitude towards work and life in general. Coming from a marketing background John was always up to provide feedback on my own work at times, although this is not part of his job description. I have always had productive conversations with him while picking his brain about things(even personal if you’d like 😆)

We just moved recently to WeWork on Spencer st and we are really surprised about the staff, the building, the view and the location (close to trams and trains). Each member of the staff is just amazing and very helpful. We moved in in less than 3 days and the team helped us to put us comfortably inside our new office.
Everything is cleaned many times a day. The staff is always smiling, nice and does everything they can to help. 🙂
There is a plus, from 2pm to 6pm you can get some free bears! (Check photos!)
Hardly recommended if you need a co-working space.
