May brought WeWork a magazine honor, a new product, a new partnership, and two executive appointments, all within a few weeks. A busy month, and a good one at that. Here are the headlines.

WeWork earns a spot on the Time100

Time named WeWork one of its 100 Most Influential Companies of 2026, an honor reserved for companies making an extraordinary impact around the world. The recognition reflects WeWork’s progress toward a steadier, more disciplined business, and “masterful turnaround” as a trusted partner for companies still figuring out how their people should work.

WeWork Go: office space for professionals on the move

Anyone who’s tried to take a client call on the move knows the problem WeWork Go is meant to solve.

The new product is a private office pod with lighting, enhanced soundproofing, and Wi-Fi. It debuted at the Semafor World Economy Summit 2026, and WeWork says it’s expanding next to airports, conference centers, and similar venues. No more scrambling for a quiet corner among crowds.

WeWork for Business: proving the model works

The next phase of the WeWork for Business campaign positions WeWork as a single integrated platform for space, services, and technology.

The campaign has some numbers behind it: several of WeWork’s biggest markets, including London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, New York City, the Bay Area, and Canada, are running above 80% occupancy, with other regions nearing that mark, as of May 2026. For anyone weighing flexible workspace solutions against a traditional lease, that’s a data point worth knowing.

FoundersCard brings founders into the fold

WeWork announced a partnership with FoundersCard, a membership community for entrepreneurs and founders. The two networks are sharing benefits, resources, and experiences across their member bases, and one more resource without an extra account to set up.

Leadership appointments: a General Counsel and a CIO join the C-suite

WeWork rounded out its executive team this month. Nick DiChiara, an 11-year WeWork veteran, was promoted to General Counsel. Jigar Shah joined as Chief Information Officer, bringing real estate technology experience from Yardi. Congrats to both.
