Great wework! Location is excellent with many food options nearby. They have many floors and it’s not crowded at all.

The Rhode Island WeWork place is cozy coworking space with some really good coffee. Lookout for some promo codes before you book your place.

Plenty of open desk spaces. Could probably use a few more phone booths. Standard WeWork overall.

The staff is great, but the corporate office be out here trying to gentrify you out every year by making you sign new contracts with raised prices. I had to move to Regus Office spaces.

Weiterlesen Really bad experience at this WeWork location. Had been harassed several times by two men for not putting my mask on in between sipping my water, coffee, or consuming a snack, despite being over 6 ft away from all other people and them never saying a word to others doing the same. By their standards you aren't allowed to eat or drink there, ever. That or they think it's appropriate to intimidate women. Sad these people only derive a sense of power or sense of self worth from yelling at WeWork members every five minutes. I expected more professionalism from WeWork staff.

Weiterlesen It is said that during difficult times, we get to see the true colors in people and businesses. During our current Covid-19 health crisis, while I have not been able to commute to my space because of the Government of the District of Columbia's Stay-at-Home Order, WeWork has only cared about ensuring that it collects its membership fees while continuing to suppress membership services. Furthermore, WeWork has explicitly told me that it plans to continue charging its membership fees for the whole duration of the government's Order no matter how long it lasts. Facing the impact that the virus was already having on my sales, I requested WeWork to place my 2-year membership agreement “on hold” without penalties for the duration of the Order. WeWork did not accept my request despite the fact that I made this request several times to different employees in WeWork's hierarchy. I was not asking for a loan. I was not asking for financing. I was just asking them to put my membership on hold so that it could resume after the order expired, extending my term correspondingly so that WeWork still got the money that it was so eager to receive. Now WeWork has charged my card for the full amount of April and May without my consent. WeWork misled me into signing a 2-year contract when one of its sales representatives offered me a discount for early registration and then only granted it to me if I signed a 2-year agreement, a condition that was never mentioned before. It is worth mentioning that I communicated my interest in joining its building 5 months before the building was even finished. If this is not an early registration, I do not know what is. Even though my account was set on autopay (WeWork would be charging my credit card monthly) I had to send WeWork an email every month to remind them to charge my card as an internal glitch prevented it from charging my card automatically. It was only upon my insistence that WeWork finally fixed its glitch months after the issue first arose. But of course, none of what I did to help is now being reciprocated. WeWork invited me once to a brainstorming session saying that it wanted to hear my opinion regarding how to improve my member's experience. I felt excited and even worked on a list of ideas to share with them. The disappointment continued of course as when the day arrived the representative did not even show up. In a two-faced manner WeWork approached me offering its help to cope with the crisis but when I actually asked WeWork to put my account on hold WeWork did not listen, did not show the flexibility that it claims to have and only offered me a few pre-packed options to pay them in full whether I could access the building or not. WeWork captivated me at first. Then I started seeing things change. As winter came and the heating system was not able to keep a constant temperature across the different spaces, my neighbors in offices close to windows froze while I overheated in my internal office. My beautiful office became useless when despite having my door closed I could not concentrate while hearing entire conversations and laughs coming from other members' offices far away. The promised phone booths never arrived. The memorable networking events offered turned into 5-minute gatherings in which people showed up, got the free popcorn that they could still get and left back to eat them in their offices.
