WeWork Promotes Lauren Fritts to Chief Communications Officer

Fritts will join the executive leadership team as Chief Communications Officer, overseeing the global corporate communications and public affairs functions

WeWork, the world’s leading flexible office space provider, today announced that Lauren Fritts has been promoted to the position of  Chief Communications Officer. Fritts is an accomplished executive with more than 15 years of experience in senior communications roles in both the public and private sectors. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Mathrani.

Fritts assumes this position after three years with WeWork. She previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications, overseeing stakeholder engagement and strategic communications. In her new role, Fritts will lead WeWork’s internal and external communications and public affairs functions on a global basis.

Prior to WeWork, Fritts worked in the public sector, serving as the Digital Director and Deputy Communications Director for Chris Christie during his term as the Governor of New Jersey and on his 2016 presidential campaign. In this role, Fritts developed and executed strategic digital and media communication plans that highlighted the legislative and policy agendas of the Christie administration. Fritts began her career in media and spent seven years as a producer for the Fox News Channel.
