SYDNEY – October 17, 2022 – Today, WeWork (NYSE: WE), one of the leading global flexible space providers, and the CBD Sydney Chamber of Commerce announced WeWork x Sydney, a strategic partnership to foster economic growth among Sydney-based businesses and support a flexible return to work.
The need for flexible return-to-work solutions is at the forefront of business priorities now more than ever. Enthusiasm for hybrid workspace is especially pronounced in the Sydney CBD, where demand for WeWork All Access, one of WeWork’s most flexible offerings, was up 30% in August compared to February. WeWork All Access is a monthly subscription membership that provides access to hundreds of WeWork locations across the globe so that users can choose when and where to work.
Further, WeWork x Sydney will provide the chamber with critical data and insights into how Sydney businesses are returning work — providing strategic decision-making resources for the city and its businesses.
As part of the partnership, WeWork is offering members of the CBD Sydney Chamber of Commerce access to specific incentives, including:
- 50% off WeWork All Access for 3 months for new members; or
- WeWork Private office space with 1 month free with a 3-month+ commitment, or 2 months free with a 6-month+ commitment.
The partnership ladders up to a global initiative with 11 other cities across the world, including London, Singapore and Paris, to help navigate the global movement towards flexible work and develop hybrid solutions.
“As Sydney’s CBD comes back to life, the way we work has changed,” said Peter May, Executive Officer at CBD Sydney Chamber of Commerce. “Incentives like this one from our partners at WeWork will provide businesses the flexibility they need to support hybrid work, at 10 premium locations across the city and beyond.”
“Attracting businesses back into our vibrant city is key to a successful post-pandemic recovery,” said Balder Tol, General Manager Australia and Southeast Asia at WeWork. “We are proud to continue to partner with the Sydney CBD Chamber to provide its members with practical solutions that support new ways of hybrid working. Responding to the growing need from employees to have a dedicated space to collaborate and create meaningful connections, our space as a service and All Access solutions offer companies of all sizes the ability to optimise their workspace needs, whenever they need it.”
