Jellysmack Chooses WeWork for its French Headquarters

The French startup has taken over an entire floor at WeWork 7 rue de Madrid in Paris

Paris, France – 24th October 2023 – WeWork (NYSE: WE), the leading global flexible space provider, today announced the arrival of Jellysmack, a company specialized in helping creators grow their communities and maximizing their earnings across multiple social media platforms, at WeWork 7 rue de Madrid in Paris. With several international subsidiaries already located in WeWork spaces around the world, the French company has chosen the WeWork space in Paris’ European quarter for its French headquarters.

“WeWork from Jellywhere”: from All Access passes…
Since its creation in 2016, Jellysmack has established itself as one of the most dynamic and innovative creators and distributors of video content of its generation. They use technology, data, and expertise to turn the talented video creators of today into the digital icons of tomorrow. This success story has been made possible by a team of passionate and talented Jellysmackers, whom the company pampers on a daily basis. So in 2020, at a time of transition when the whole world questioned the future of work, Jellysmack launched ‘Work from Jellywhere’, offering employees the freedom to choose the working conditions that suit them best, with complete access to teleworking. A year later, the initiative went a step further with “WeWork from Jellywhere”: thanks to WeWork All Access memberships, Jellysmackers are offered the unique opportunity to work from any WeWork space, around the world – whether close to home or traveling abroad.

Mathilde Neiman, Chief People Officer at Jellysmack said: “Keeping teams connected and engaged, continuing to spread our culture while enabling them to adapt to the new global reality, these were our priorities.”

… To headquarters set up in a fully customized WeWork space
For their new headquarters, Jellysmack prioritized a flexible approach that emphasized the need for spaces where people can come together to collaborate as a team and to nurture and enrich the corporate culture that is the cornerstone of Jellysmack’s success. With values and DNA firmly anchored in the company’s day-to-day activities, combining flexibility and collective performance is essential. That’s why Jellysmack has chosen to set up in the heart of Paris and offer its employees a unique setting entirely renovated in the company’s colors. Jellysmack has chosen WeWork 7 rue de Madrid as the location for its French headquarters.

Offering a prime address in the heart of Paris’ central business district, and strategically located in the European Quarter, 7 rue de Madrid opened its doors in November 2020. Winner of the Best Renovated Building award at MIPIM 2021, the 11,900m², eight-floor space features a wealth of outdoor and green spaces, including several terraces, a covered communal area on the seventh floor with a 360° view of Paris, and a planted rooftop on the 8th floor, offering a panoramic view of all the capital’s must-see monuments.
The inspiring building and workspaces in an attractive district won over Jellysmack, as Mathilde Neiman confirms: “Our choice was a natural one, and in barely a month our Jellysmackers have already been won over by their new working environment, which completely adapted to their needs!”

Rebecca Nachanakian, General Manager of WeWork Southern Europe, Benelux and Nordic Countries said: “As the world of work continues to evolve, there is a growing need for flexible workspace solutions that marry business needs with employee expectation. Jellysmack’s powerful combination of WeWork products is a prime example of this. Reflecting the company’s dedication to putting its employees and corporate culture first, this partnership also reaffirms WeWork’s unique ability to power dynamic and forward-thinking workplace strategies for growing organizations who require new levels of flexibility and tools to navigate a hybrid set up.”
