WeWork On Demand – The Economist 50% discount

The WeWork app is available on iOS and Android and gives you access to more than 285 locations across 50+ major cities in the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. To sign up, download the WeWork app and create an account with your email, name and password. If you would like to be notified when WeWork On Demand becomes available at a location near you, sign up for notifications through the form above.

WeWork On Demand grants you access to a select group of WeWork locations to book open workspace and meeting rooms during our working hours, Monday – Friday. Your open workspace booking will give you access to hot desks and the common areas of WeWork On Demand enabled locations. You’ll have access to a seat with a back, a flat work surface and a power source within 1.8 metres (6 feet). There are currently more than 285 locations across 50+ major cities in the US accessible through WeWork On Demand. You can search for locations in the WeWork On Demand app.

When you arrive at your first open workspace or meeting room, just check in with a member of our community team. They will get you set up with a keycard for all future reservations – just don’t forget your ID, they will need to check that first!

By creating a WeWork On Demand account, you can access any of our available locations by booking an open workspace on the WeWork app. We want to ensure that you and every other member has a great experience at all WeWork On Demand locations, and as a result, we may reach capacity at your preferred location. That’s why we please ask that you book your space in advance using the app. If the location you had planned on working from is at capacity, we suggest booking an open workspace at the nearest available location to you.

You can book meeting rooms through the WeWork app in 30‑minute increments. The price of the meeting room will depend on the size of the meeting room and time of day. All prices will be displayed in the app, and you can pay for it by credit card via the app.

You may cancel a reservation in the app as long as you are within the reservation cancellation window. You will automatically be refunded the cost of the meeting room as long as you cancel at least 60 minutes before the start of your reservation. To be issued a refund for daily workspace reservations, you must cancel by 11:59 p.m. the day before your reservation. If you are outside the reservation cancellation window, please contact [email protected] to modify or cancel a meeting room or open workspace booking.

At this time, you can book open workspaces or meeting rooms at more than 285 locations across the US, Australia, Canada, Singapore, UK and Ireland via the WeWork app. Stay tuned as additional locations become available.

A member from the Community Team can help you print up to 100 pages a month. If you need more than 100 pages, we suggest looking for a nearby business printing provider.

Once you are in the office and ready to work, log in to the WeWork Wi-Fi network using your WeWork On Demand credentials. First time visitors: please allow 3-5 minutes to validate your credentials and connect for the first time.

Booking a desk (or ‘Space’) through the WeWork app allows you to access WeWork common areas, including desks, booths, pantries, toilets and more. Booking a meeting room (‘Room’) is done through the WeWork On Demand app with a credit card, and allows access to a meeting room for the length of your reservation.

No guests are permitted with desk bookings. If you’d like to bring a guest, please make a meeting room booking that can accommodate each of your guests.

For room bookings, the number of guests is limited by room capacity. Guests should bring a valid ID and check in with the Community team. Hosts must be present prior to guest arrival and for the duration of the room booking. Guests are only permitted to access the premises during the booking period.
