Contentsquare Moves to WeWork

Paris, 18 June 2021 — WeWork, one of the leading global flexible space providers, today announced that Contentsquare, the global leader in experience analytics, has moved its headquarters into WeWork 7 rue de Madrid in Paris. The French company, founded in 2012 by Jonathan Cherki, recently completed a $500 million Series E funding round, enabling its continued growth and international expansion. By setting up its Paris headquarters with over 450 desks at WeWork 7 rue de Madrid, Contentsquare is embracing the new standards of flexibility and collaboration that are shaping the future of work, both for the well-being of its employees and to complement its steady growth.

Attractive workspaces for both talent and customers

Opened in November 2020, WeWork 7 rue de Madrid is strategically located in the heart of the Paris Central Business District; a location that is valued for its extensive network of businesses and diverse range of local services.

Nicolas Fritz, COO of Contentsquare, explains: “It was a conscious decision to choose a workspace that was situated in a coveted and central location, not only for our employees but for clients’ convenience too; and WeWork 7 rue de Madrid was the perfect solution. Since our move, we have had the pleasure of welcoming both clients and partners into our new space, while attracting new talent who are drawn to an inspiring working environment in a sought-after location.”

Anthony Yazbeck, President & COO, International at WeWork said: “We are thrilled to welcome Contentsquare, an innovative and forward-thinking organisation with a rapidly growing presence in France, as one of our first enterprise members at 7 rue de Madrid. Our goal at WeWork is to inspire and enable teams to work together in more flexible and collaborative ways through our beautifully designed spaces in the most sought after locations. It is exciting to see companies like Contentsquare recognise the value of the right workspace in fostering company culture and supporting innovation.`”

WeWork 7 rue de Madrid demonstrates WeWork’s commitment to creating an environment that combines an unparalleled member experience with inspiring design that fosters collaboration, innovation, and productivity. The design pays homage to European influences by mixing strong Spanish themes  – in materials and colours – with Parisian accents and more neutral materials such as limestone. The building has been shortlisted in the “Best Refurbished Building” category at the MIPIM Awards., which will be announced in September.

Flexibility and optionality

Like many, Contentsquare adopted home working during the pandemic as a short-term solution while exploring new ways of working –  with flexibility at the forefront – as it prepared its return to the office. The company began its move to WeWork 7 rue de Madrid in November 2020; a decision enabled by WeWork’s ability to complement Contentsquare’s new hybrid approach to working. Employees worked from the new space once a week to re-connect and collaborate with colleagues, while re-establishing the company’s culture in-person.

Contentsquare’s gradual return to the office was also facilitated by WeWork’s health and safety measures which prioritised increased cleanliness, behavioural signage and professional distancing, and have been independently audited and verified by Bureau Veritas.

Employee well-being and productivity

Contentsquare, like many organisations, is putting employee wellbeing at the forefront of business decisions.

“The success of a hyper-growth scale-up such as Contentsquare depends largely on its employees; attracting them, retaining them and allowing them to work and develop in the best conditions. 7 rue de Madrid integrates all the ingredients of the new flexible office; an office that must be a destination where you want to come to work and meet your colleagues. WeWork allows us to take advantage of comfortable, inspiring and friendly spaces, from private spaces to work in peace and quiet, to collaborative spaces to share between teams”, says Célia Dorr – Chief People Officer of Contentsquare.

Yazbeck added: “This is a pivotal time for redefining the future of work and our partnership with Contentsquare demonstrates the advantages of utilizing flex space in order to adapt to the changing needs of the workforce.  We are proud to be enabling their hybrid strategy  and look forward to seeing them grow and thrive in our space.”
