Colliers International Italia moves its headquarters to WeWork in Milan

Colliers will take a full floor in the latest WeWork building to open in the city

Milan, 29th June 2021: WeWork, one of the leading global flexible space providers, today announced the arrival of Colliers, the global leader in real estate services and investment management, to its newest Milan location, WeWork Via Giuseppe Mazzini 9. Embracing the new standards of flexibility and collaboration that are shaping the future of work, Colliers has  an entire floor and several additional spaces for its Italian HQ.

Located just a few steps from the Duomo, the space will not only provide a flexible solution for Colliers’ Milan-based employees but support the company’s continued local expansion. The move will also enable closer working with Colliers International Italia’s key strategic client, Antirion, which has also taken a full floor in the same sought-after WeWork location.

Adopting an agile workplace solution supports Colliers’ forward-thinking strategy which, more than ever, aims to shape the future of real estate. CEO of Colliers International Italia Roberto Nicosia said: “At Colliers, our ambition is to lead our clients into the future of real estate, and while the traditional office isn’t dead, we’re exploring the benefits of flexible workspaces including the unique space-as-a-service offering.”

Colliers occupies over 130 desks spread over a private floor with a surrounding balcony and space customised to suit their needs. The fourth WeWork location in the city, WeWork Via Giuseppe Mazzini 9 was formerly the headquarters of one of Milan’s oldest banks, Banca Agricola Milanese. The building has been renovated to introduce  contemporary nuances while retaining its historic features. It has also received an LEED Gold certification for building sustainability. Designed with both existing and future members in mind, WeWork Via Mazzini 9 offers comfortable and collaborative spaces that inspire productivity and innovation.

Roberto Nicosia confirms: “Employees need to be able to collaborate and work together in spaces that not only enable them to be  productive but that also inspire and foster innovation. With WeWork, we have it covered, from private spaces for focused work to collaborative areas to connect with colleagues, all while enjoying the hospitality  of the community team and a prime location in an up-and-coming neighborhood.”

Muhannad Al Salhi, General Manager of WeWork Italy and Spain said: “It’s exciting to see Colliers Italia, a real estate industry leader, recognising the value of flex space at a time when the conversation around the office has never been more important and the role of the workplace is being redefined. By combining our design expertise with  Colliers’ workplace needs, we have created a bespoke space that will enable the Colliers team to thrive as part of our community in Milan.”
