Once home to the H\u00f4tel de Langeac, built in 1768 for Louis Ph\u00e9lypeaux, Comte de Saint-Florentin<\/a>, this elegant residence hosted none other than Thomas Jefferson, then U.S. Minister to France and future President of the United States.
