While navigating the global health crisis, people have been reevaluating what\u2019s really important to them, including how they spend their waking hours. They want jobs that can intertwine with real life in a way that is supportive and conducive to prioritizing personal time, family, friends, hobbies, and health. To put it simply, they don\u2019t want to work themselves to death anymore\u2014who would have thought?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The great resignation<\/a> speaks to a lot of people who are fed up with workplaces and employers that have not been supportive of real-life considerations and goals. We\u2019ve realized that work and life can\u2019t be completely separate, and the workforce continues to seek more opportunities that help promote true balance. If the workplace or a manager has been causing someone\u2019s anxiety and depression because of things like unsafe working conditions, unreasonably long hours, being gaslit for the sake of the company\u2019s bottom line\u2026well, then it makes sense that folks may want to look for greener pastures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a chorus of people ask, \u201cWhere can I work that I feel valued, respected, compensated fairly, and cared for as a fellow human?\u201d more companies are trying to answer that question.
