Growing up in Brooklyn wasn\u2019t easy for Jane DaCosta. Her single mother, an immigrant from Guyana, worked two jobs, so DaCosta spent a lot of time with her grandma. She\u2019s the first to admit that few would imagine, if looking at a young DaCosta back then, that she would become who she is today: a horseback rider, trainer, and entrepreneur and leader of a horse-related nonprofit. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
