Their products can be found in the brainstorm rooms of about 70 percent of WeWork\u2019s buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe idea is that in a meeting you can sketch your ideas on the walls,\u201d says Shelby Cadiz, a WeWork interior designer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The creative director behind Visual Magnetics is Tori Deetz, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/soho-west--new-york-city--NY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WeWork Soho West<\/a> member since 2013. She first introduced her product to WeWork at a community pitch night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2016\/11\/Visual-Magnetics-Gets-Ideas-Out-of-Your-Head-and-Onto-the-Wall2-800x571.jpg\" alt=\"visual-magnetics-gets-ideas-out-of-your-head-and-onto-the-wall2\" class=\"wp-image-24413\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe won not only the pitch competition, but also the attention of WeWork\u2019s internal team,\u201d says Deetz. \u201cAfter doing one beta location in a conference room here in Soho West, WeWork\u2019s design team began to integrate our custom dry erase wall coverings into every brainstorm room as they expanded from that point going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visual Magnetics also offers a variety of add-on modules for its magnetic boards. Besides dry erase, there\u2019s also \u201cwritable arrows and note layers\u201d that keep meetings \u201csuper organized,\u201d Deetz says. Visual Magnetics recently launched its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dynamicspaces.com\/polarity-collection\/\">Polarity Collection<\/a>, which uses magnetic&nbsp;poles to keep large items like holders for dry erase markers in place on the walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s funny to think of wall coverings as a productivity tool that you use every day, but that\u2019s what we aim for our products to be,\u201d Deetz says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2016\/11\/Visual-Magnetics-Gets-Ideas-Out-of-Your-Head-and-Onto-the-Wall3-800x571.jpg\" alt=\"visual-magnetics-gets-ideas-out-of-your-head-and-onto-the-wall3\" class=\"wp-image-24414\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Visual Magnetics isn\u2019t just an organization tool, Deetz says. It could also help companies \u201cget creative and find a way to integrate some level of brand experience into your office.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe set up one of our offices to act as a showroom with all of our newest products on display and in use, so that our neighbors can get a better idea of what we do,\u201d Deetz says. \u201cWe\u2019ve actually made a lot of business connections this way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visual Magnetics plans to move to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/south-williamsburg--new-york-city--NY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WeWork South Williamsburg<\/a> in January.
