Too many coworking spaces are just \u201cfour white walls and fluorescent lighting,\u201d says Courtney Symons. She remembers being \u201cstarstruck\u201d the first time she walked into a WeWork office.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have always admired WeWork because we see its culture and philosophy as similar to ours,\u201d says Symons, partner growth manager at Shopify<\/a>, a Canada-based ecommerce software service provider. \u201cIt\u2019s about providing people with creative spaces and giving them the tools and support to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why Shopify is intent on helping entrepreneurs, freelancers, and others discover the power of working in a diverse and supportive community. The\u00a0Shopify Partner Accelerator<\/a>\u00a0program\u00a0offers a chance to win three months of office space at four WeWork locations: WeWork 5th Avenue<\/a> in New York, WeWork University Park<\/a> in Austin, WeWork Aldgate Tower<\/a> in London, and WeWork Place Ville Marie<\/a> in Montreal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe chose those cities because we have a strong partner community and see interesting things happening in ecommerce in each of these cities,\u201d Symons says. \u201cWe thought, \u2018what better place to support early stage startups than to put them in the thriving ecosystem of WeWork and help them grow?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate would have a compelling project idea to serve Shopify\u2019s 300,000 merchants. The winners will be selected based on those who possess the enthusiasm and passion to maximize the usage of WeWork\u2019s space and programs.<\/p>\n
