Turns out his company, <a href=\"http:\/\/mycustomizer.com\/\">MyCustomizer<\/a>, ended up being one of the winners.<\/p>\n<p>It was a nerve-wracking experience, but Teasdale says all of the practice pitching in front of family and friends paid off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFive minutes before the pitch, you get really nervous,\u201d says Teasdale, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/locations\/montreal\/place-ville-marie\">WeWork Place Ville Marie<\/a> member. \u201cBut we practiced like 300 times, so we knew we had done everything we could to be ready. It might sound\u00a0clich\u00e9,\u00a0but you have to convert your stress into positive energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the event, sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/montreal.ubisoft.com\/en\/tag\/innobahn-en\/\">InnoBahn<\/a>, companies competed for a chance to work with Ubisoft, GP3R, or L&#8217;Or\u00e9al. MyCustomizer won the chance to work with L&#8217;Or\u00e9al on a pilot project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf things work out, they will use our technology in all their stores,\u201d Teasdale says. \u201cOur team is stoked to work with such a prestigious brand. We already support giants like New Balance and\u00a0Suunto. L&#8217;Or\u00e9al is going to be another big win!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MyCustomizer helps companies build engaging customization platforms for online consumers.
