Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Nikhil Bahadur of Blue Nectar Tequila<\/a> offers this recipe for a one-of-a-kind margarita flavored with blood orange and habanero sauce. The WeWork FiDi<\/a> member offers four different types of tequilas, but for this, he recommends the triple-distilled Blue Nectar Silver<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The recipe was created by Natalie Migliarini of Beautiful Booze<\/a>, who says that the two unusual flavors balance each other out \u201cbecause the blood orange is sweet and the habanero hot sauce adds a slight spice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other favorite recipes? Blue Nectar\u2019s classic margarita<\/a> is simple and refreshing.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong>
\n2 ounces of Blue Nectar Silver Tequila
\n1 blood orange, juiced
\n1 lime, juiced
\n1 teaspoon of agave nectar
\n4-8 dashes of habanero hot sauce, depending on how much heat you like
\n1\/2 cup of ice
\nsalt for rim<\/p>\n

Instructions:<\/strong>
\n1. In a cocktail shaker, combine Blue Nectar Silver Tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice, agave, habanero hot sauce, and ice.<\/p>\n

2. Rim the serving glass with salt.<\/p>\n

3. Shake mixture for 20 seconds and pour mixture into serving glass.<\/p>\n

4. Garnish with blood orange slices.<\/p>\n
