The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/membership\">WeWork member<\/a> has come up with lots of recipes to battle the afternoon slump, including this easy to prepare, perfectly packable treat.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"energy-truffles\"><a href=\"http:\/\/rdrct.it\/sidechef?recipe\/1850\"><strong>Energy Truffles<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>According to SideChef contributor <a href=\"http:\/\/elisejoanfitness.com\/\">Elise Joan<\/a>, a Los Angeles-based yoga instructor, this is \u201ca perfectly portable treat for when you are on the go and need to keep your energy up. This recipe is super simple and quick to make.\u201d Preparation time is 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 cup dates<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup toasted coconut<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup almond butter<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup oats<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 teaspoon ground cloves<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooking instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Process the\u00a0dates\u00a0(1 cup),\u00a0toasted coconut\u00a0(1\/3 cup),\u00a0almond butter\u00a0(1\/3 cup),\u00a0oats (1\/4 cup),\u00a0cinnamon\u00a0(1\/4 teaspoon), and\u00a0salt\u00a0(1\/4 teaspoon) in a food processor until it forms a dough.<\/p>\n<p>In a small dish, whisk the\u00a0unsweetened cocoa powder\u00a0(1\/4 cup) and\u00a0ground cloves\u00a0(1\/8 teaspoon) together and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>One tablespoon at a time, roll the dough into small balls.<\/p>\n<p>Roll each ball in the cocoa powder mixture and enjoy!
