Toronto, CA \u2014 October 16, 2025 \u2014 <\/strong>WeWork, a leading global flexible space provider, today announced it will expand at One University Avenue in Toronto by adding the 15th floor to the company\u2019s existing footprint in the building. The new workspace is expected to open in Q3 2026 and will add 16,150 square feet to the existing 96,640 that the company already occupies across six floors in the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WeWork\u2019s new floor will be built to the company\u2019s latest performance standards, featuring modern design, welcoming furnishings, and enhanced technology and acoustics crafted to elevate the work experience. WeWork 1 University Avenue<\/a>, which first opened in 2018, is located in the heart of Toronto, offering impressive views of the city skyline and Lake Ontario, easy access to ample public transit options at neighboring Union Station, and walking distance to entertainment and attractions, including the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As companies and individuals increasingly view the office as valuable for improving work quality, WeWork has experienced a surge in demand for flexible workspace in Toronto. Footfall at WeWork\u2019s Toronto locations is up over 33% year-over-year and over 35% since the start of the year. Additionally, bookings for WeWork On Demand<\/a> in Toronto are up nearly 60% since the beginning of 2025.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest expansion follows other strategic growth moves by the company, including the two newly announced locations in New York City at 245 Fifth Avenue<\/a> and 250 Broadway<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
