Miami, FL \u2014 May 20, 2025 \u2014 WeWork, a leading global flexible space provider, today announced the opening of its first new coworking space in Miami since 2019. The company has redesigned its workspace at Southeast Financial Center from enterprise to coworking, reflecting the market\u2019s shifting office demand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Reintroducing this new, premium coworking space to downtown Miami underscores our confidence in this key market,” said Nick DeMarinis, Vice President and Head of Leasing, East at WeWork. \u201cWith the sustained high demand for office space in the city, repositioning one of our most sought-after locations for a wider audience was an easy decision. Southeast Financial Center\u2019s prime setting and top-quality finishes create a workspace perfectly suited for everyone, from remote professionals and growing startups to satellite corporate teams.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in downtown Miami, WeWork Southeast Financial Center boasts expansive waterfront views and showcases the company’s latest design and performance standards. The over 45,000-square-foot space spans two floors, offering a range of communal work areas, meeting rooms, and private offices. These spaces have been enhanced with improved acoustics, lighting, and furniture, among other features, to provide an elevated experience for businesses of all sizes. This redesign comes as WeWork plans to invest more than $80-100 million on capital improvements to its other locations around the world in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This strategic repositioning of WeWork Southeast Financial Center follows the increased demand the company has seen in Miami-Dade County for flexible access to shared workspace. In fact, bookings for WeWork All Access<\/a> and WeWork On Demand<\/a>, the company\u2019s coworking offerings, have increased 27% and 48% respectively in the area from September 2024 to March 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
