Each day that freelancers, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies come to WeWork, they tell us something new about the world of work and what it might look like in the future. Curious what our members\u2019 top building is or how many meetings they booked this year? How about how much coffee they drink? Spoiler &#8211; it\u2019s a lot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read on to learn all that and more, brought to you by WeWork\u2019s 2023 Year in Review:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where our members work<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of our 595 global locations, one saw the most traffic throughout 2023: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/10-york-rd--london\"><strong>10 York Road<\/strong><\/a><strong> in London<\/strong>, known for its proximity to Waterloo Station and stunning views of London\u2019s city center.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"810\" src=\"\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/01_Newsroom-1440x810-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3000072171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/01_Newsroom-1440x810-1.png?w=1440 1440w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/01_Newsroom-1440x810-1.png?w=400 400w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/01_Newsroom-1440x810-1.png?w=800 800w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/01_Newsroom-1440x810-1.png?w=1120 1120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>10 York Road was also (unsurprisingly) our members\u2019 most popular location in the UK, followed closely by:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/30-churchill-place--london\">30 Churchill Place<\/a>, a prime Canary Wharf location that sits among some of the biggest names in London\u2019s business and finance scene.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/5-merchant-square--london\">5 Merchant Square<\/a>, workspace that lets you jump on the train at Paddington where it\u2019s easy to mix work and play with its proximity to waterfront restaurants, Royal Gardens, and Notting Hill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the U.S. and Canada, our members most-booked buildings all happen to be in New York City\u2019s Midtown &#8211; indicating that the famed office district is back and better than ever:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/12-e-49th-st--new-york-city--NY\">12 E 49th Street<\/a>, workspace with a light-filled atrium located steps from city landmarks like Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick\u2019s Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/500-7th-ave--new-york-city--NY\">500 7th Avenue<\/a>, an art deco tower in the Garment District with plenty of lounge seating and a barista bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/1460-broadway--new-york-city--NY\">1460 Broadway<\/a>, a building that puts you in the center of the action in Times Square, with a wrap-around outdoor terrace that lets you take in the sights while avoiding the crowds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How our members collaborate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once members arrived at our spaces, getting the team together seemed to be everyone\u2019s top priority. In 2023, <strong>our members booked approximately 2.3 million meeting rooms<\/strong> worldwide and out of all those bookings, <strong>Tuesday was the most popular day of the week to meet.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s clear that for our members, collaboration isn\u2019t just about meeting with their teammates \u2014 they\u2019ve also been bringing their friends, clients, and visitors to work with them. This year, our <strong>members welcomed 1.4 million guests<\/strong> to WeWork across the globe. The majority of this group is primarily located in the United States, South Korea, and the United Kingdom, and are a mix of our private office and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/solutions\/wework-all-access\">WeWork All Access<\/a> users. Overall, <strong>these members visited our spaces an average of 176 times<\/strong> and <strong>booked an average of 12 meeting rooms<\/strong> each in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"810\" src=\"\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/03_Newsroom-1440x810-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3000072215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/03_Newsroom-1440x810-1-1.png?w=1440 1440w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/03_Newsroom-1440x810-1-1.png?w=400 400w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/03_Newsroom-1440x810-1-1.png?w=800 800w, https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/12\/03_Newsroom-1440x810-1-1.png?w=1120 1120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some other interesting stats from our top users include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our top meeting room user is based in South Korea and made 725 meeting room bookings this year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our top WeWork All Access user visited 43 buildings around the world this year &#8211; spending most of their time at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/buildings\/37-avenue-trudaine--paris\">WeWork 37 Avenue Trudaine<\/a> in Paris.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How our members fuel up and have fun<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to powering the workday, there\u2019s one priority outside of Wi-Fi and workspace: coffee. And it\u2019s safe to say that at WeWork, our members go through a lot of it. From holiday celebrations to professional networking sessions, our <strong>Community teams hosted approximately 93,000 events globally<\/strong> for our members this year. For context, that\u2019s more than 4,000 days\u2019 worth of member meet-ups, lunch &amp; learns, and happy hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Looking towards the future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we wrap up 2023, we\u2019re grateful for the people behind these numbers \u2014 the freelancers, founders, and Fortune 500s that call WeWork home.
