SINGAPORE, May 18, 2022<\/strong> \u2013 The National Youth Council<\/a> (NYC) and Mentoring Alliance Singapore (MASg) today entered a partnership with leading global flexible space provider WeWork to strengthen the mentoring culture in Singapore as part of the Mentoring Alliance for Action (AfA), an initiative under SG Mentoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the year-long partnership, WeWork will provide complimentary spaces for mentoring sessions through its All Access<\/a> solution, which unlocks access to 13 WeWork locations across Singapore. Mentoring organizations, mentors, and mentees under the Mentoring AfA have the flexibility to choose a location that is convenient for them and utilize amenities including workspaces, meeting rooms, and event spaces for their mentoring programmes or discussions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n WeWork will provide mentoring partners such as Voices of Asia (VOA) and Yayasan MENDAKI\u2019s Youth Mentoring Office (YMO) the opportunity to leverage WeWork\u2019s conducive, engaging and safe spaces to facilitate insightful conversations and knowledge sharing under its mentoring programmes. Beyond mentoring sessions, youths will also have the opportunity to be exposed to WeWork\u2019s diverse community of enterprise members to learn about the various industries and connect with potential employers. WeWork will also be supporting Mentoring AfA\u2019s programmes and initiatives with event spaces to conduct larger-scale workshops, trainings, and events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Mentoring AfA was launched in 2021 as a key national movement to forge partnerships with public-private-people sector partners to strengthen our mentoring effort and make mentoring accessible to all youths in Singapore, regardless of their needs and life stages. Through partnerships with various organizations, the AfA also aims to develop and provide training and resources, youth mentoring programmes and opportunities to support youths\u2019 career and personal development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMentoring can play a crucial role as our youths journey through life\u2019s different stages.
