It found that across all four metrics evaluated, employees said they had an overall boost in performance since returning to the office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With widespread vaccine distribution on the horizon, it\u2019s critical for businesses to understand and apply the best policies for their eventual return to the workplace to ensure improved employee performance and business success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Among the Key Findings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Those who returned to the office four to five days a week reported a <\/em><strong><em>54 percent increase in morale<\/em><\/strong><em> compared to working from home. Of all employees who returned to the office anywhere from one to five days, there was an over <\/em><strong><em>40 percent rise in morale<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li><li><em>The impact of a company <\/em><strong><em>providing personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer<\/em><\/strong><em> had the most positive impact on self-reported employee performance with company culture, improving <\/em><strong><em>11 percent.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em><br><\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><em>Those who said \u201cworking from home was not effective\u201d saw an <\/em><strong><em>18 percent rise in connection to company culture <\/em><\/strong><em>when back in the office.<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li><li><em>Employees who thought their company\u2019s handling of returning to the workplace was effective, reported it led to instilled confidence with a <\/em><strong><em>7 percent improvemen<\/em><\/strong><em>t in collaborative productivity and <\/em><strong><em>12 percent improvement <\/em><\/strong><em>in connection to company culture.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey&nbsp; was representative of professional office employees across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Western Europe, and set out to determine the conditions that made employees more satisfied and productive when they returned to the office after working from home.
