We love collaborating with our members, especially when they\u2019ve created a product or service that will benefit the WeWork community as a whole. Such is the case with Hathway<\/a>, a mobile agency that joined our community in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

During an all-team hackathon in 2014, Hathway employees DJ Tarazona and Florent Ferere came up with the idea to build Welkio<\/a>\u2014a comprehensive visitor sign-in system that modernizes the front-desk reception process for visitors, receptionists, and IT teams while also increasing office-wide security and productivity. We saw Welkio go live on Product Hunt a few months later and immediately knew it\u2019d be the perfect fit for us.<\/p>\n

Today, we couldn\u2019t be happier to announce that WeWork has acquired Welkio<\/a> and is welcoming their team and their customers to the WeWork community. In the coming weeks, we\u2019ll officially kick off implementation of Welkio\u2019s product, creating a better sign-in experience for WeWork guests and visitors in our 85+ locations across the globe. Hathway will remain an independent company, and one with a strong legacy in its wake.<\/p>\n

This is only the beginning of our technological growth as a company\u2014a journey we look forward to embarking on in the year ahead as we continue to find the greatest teams and partners to build more valuable spaces and help our members be more successful.<\/p>\n
