A day doing business in London with Citizen’s Mark

With the holidays around the corner, it’s understandable if your wanderlust is out of control. The good news is you don’t have to wait until December 20-something to get away.

All you have to do is hit play on the video above to travel to London with Cynthia Salim, founder of Citizen’s Mark, “a line of responsibly made Italian wool blazers for women on the rise,” she says.

“This chance to come to London was an amazing opportunity to really be that international from the start brand,” says the WeWork Madison member, a winner of the WeWork and Virgin Atlantic’s #WeWorkInTheAir collaboration.

So sit back and strap yourself in for the ride, as Salim hops on a plane, sips some champagne, bangs out some work on her laptop, and then arrives at Monocle on Bond Street, where the ecstatic Salim says, “See! I would love my blazer in there,” pointing to the shop’s alluring accessories.

It’s then a busy day of business: guesting on Monocle 24 Radio and speaking to a crowd.

“The Citizen’s Mark woman is an internationally savvy, committed, dedicated person who really has other things to worry about than looking sharp and looking as influential and powerful as she really is,” Salim explains.

Warning: major blazer envy ahead.
