Ou de ne recevoir que des T-shirts pour hommes. Ma cofondatrice de Latina vient de me dire dans le creux de l&rsquo;oreille qu&rsquo;elle est lass\u00e9e des suppositions constantes qu&rsquo;elle n&rsquo;est probablement pas la PDG. (Elle l&rsquo;est, et elle est excellente.)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&rsquo;ai cofond\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/helloalice.com\">Alice<\/a> dans le but d&rsquo;aider 6\u00a0millions d&rsquo;entrepreneurs \u00e0 se lancer et se d\u00e9velopper. Nous avons donn\u00e9 la priorit\u00e9 aux femmes et aux personnes de couleur, puis nous nous sommes ouverts au reste de la population. Nous nous sommes lanc\u00e9s dans une mission pour d\u00e9placer des montagnes que, eh bien, beaucoup de gens dans le monde des entrepreneurs ne sont pas motiv\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u00e9placer (ce qui signifie, soit dit en passant, qu&rsquo;ils perdent beaucoup d&rsquo;argent). Les r\u00e9seaux de financement et de partenariat de la vieille \u00e9cole fonctionnent pour les personnes pour lesquelles ils ont toujours fonctionn\u00e9, pour la plupart des hommes blancs \u00e0 New York et \u00e0 San Francisco. Ils ne fonctionnaient tout simplement pas pour le reste d&rsquo;entre nous, la \u00ab\u00a0nouvelle majorit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb des chefs d&rsquo;entreprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est temps d&rsquo;oublier le terme \u00ab\u00a0minorit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb s&rsquo;agissant des chefs d&rsquo;entreprise. La nouvelle majorit\u00e9\u00a0\u2014\u00a0les femmes, les personnes de couleur, les anciens combattants, les personnes dans des march\u00e9s plus petits, les personnes qui s&rsquo;identifient comme LGBTQIA+ et les personnes handicap\u00e9es\u00a0\u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/about.americanexpress.com\/files\/doc_library\/file\/2018-state-of-women-owned-businesses-report.pdf\">d\u00e9marrent maintenant <em>plus<\/em> d&rsquo;entreprises <\/a>que nos homologues blancs masculins. 543\u00a0000 entreprises sont lanc\u00e9es chaque mois aux \u00c9tats-Unis, et cette \u00e9volution vers une repr\u00e9sentation plus diversifi\u00e9e \u00e0 la t\u00eate des entreprises d\u00e9montre que des probl\u00e8mes diff\u00e9rents sont r\u00e9solus, que davantage de clients sont servis et <a href=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/r\/news\/celebrating-national-small-business-week-26-startup-tips-small-business-owners\/\">qu&rsquo;il y a plus d&rsquo;argent \u00e0 gagner<\/a>. Les statistiques montrent que lorsque les propri\u00e9taires divers re\u00e7oivent le m\u00eame capital que leurs homologues masculins blancs, leurs <a href=\"http:\/\/10years.firstround.com\/\">rendements sont \u00e9gaux ou meilleurs.<\/a> Donc, le pari financier ici est solide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S&rsquo;agissant de traiter avec les chefs d&rsquo;entreprise de la nouvelle majorit\u00e9, nous entendons souvent des r\u00e9ticences de la part d&rsquo;investisseurs potentiels et d&rsquo;entreprises partenaires parce que a) ils ne connaissent pas les donn\u00e9es de r\u00e9ussite concernant ce groupe\u00a0; b) ils ne veulent pas changer\u00a0; et c) ils ont des pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part. On parle beaucoup de diversit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;inclusion sans vraiment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wework.com\/ideas\/the-one-ingredient-you-need-to-build-an-inclusive-and-diverse-workplace\">joindre le geste \u00e0 la parole ( English )<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre objectif est de montrer qu&rsquo;\u00e9tablir des r\u00e9seaux de propri\u00e9taires diversifi\u00e9s apporte de nouveaux clients et des partenariats plus strat\u00e9giques, et produit de meilleurs rendements financiers. Deux ans apr\u00e8s avoir cr\u00e9\u00e9 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.helloalice.com\">Alice<\/a>, nous constatons que mettre d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment l&rsquo;accent sur l&rsquo;inclusivit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e8re des communaut\u00e9s de soutien dynamiques et, \u00e0 terme, des niveaux plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de r\u00e9ussite pour les chefs d&rsquo;entreprise de la nouvelle majorit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour que les entrepreneurs de la nouvelle majorit\u00e9 trouvent leur place, ils doivent se voir repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s et avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des ressources et \u00e0 des possibilit\u00e9s qui les aideront \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leur entreprise. Participez \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de votre propre communaut\u00e9 inclusive. Ce n&rsquo;est pas difficile\u00a0: ce sont en fait les trois principaux enseignements que nous avons tir\u00e9es.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D\u00e9veloppez votre r\u00e9seau<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand vous \u00eates-vous rendu pour la derni\u00e8re fois \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de r\u00e9seautage se d\u00e9roulant en dehors de votre sexe, de votre origine ethnique ou de votre secteur\u00a0? Le facteur le plus important lorsque vous formez une communaut\u00e9 inclusive est d&rsquo;\u00e9largir votre r\u00e9seau. Nous avons tous tendance \u00e0 interagir avec des personnes qui partagent des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents et des exp\u00e9riences similaires, mais bien que ce soit parfaitement acceptable pour votre profil Bumble, cela peut limiter votre connaissance des autres communaut\u00e9s et clients, et entrainer un manque de visibilit\u00e9. Communiquez avec des dirigeants dans les communaut\u00e9s que vous esp\u00e9rez mobiliser, puis demandez-leur ce dont ils ont besoin et quelles solutions ils recommandent. \u00c9coutez vraiment puis, le plus important, passez \u00e0 l&rsquo;action.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Passer le micro\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2019 comptait plus de femmes et de personnes de couleur sur les panels que jamais. Cependant, je n&rsquo;arr\u00eatais pas de remarquer que les voix plus fortes et g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dominaient les sujets. Faire partie de la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;une communaut\u00e9 inclusive signifie lib\u00e9rer les voix de ceux qui ne sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas invit\u00e9s \u00e0 prendre la parole. Donnez de l&rsquo;espace et tenez-vous un peu en retrait pour que les membres de la communaut\u00e9 sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s puissent mener le d\u00e9bat, \u00e9laborer des r\u00e8gles de base, \u00e9tablir des strat\u00e9gies et d\u00e9finir des priorit\u00e9s. Demandez \u00e0 ceux qui ne l\u00e8vent pas naturellement la main de s&rsquo;exprimer. Le changement ne se produira pas tant que nous ne c\u00e8derons pas le micro.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continuez d&rsquo;\u00e9voluer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Favoriser l&rsquo;inclusion et b\u00e2tir une communaut\u00e9 ne consiste pas juste \u00e0 atteindre un objectif. Cela n\u00e9cessite des prises de contact avec les membres de votre communaut\u00e9 et vos clients, une confiance soutenue, des changements et un engagement envers des am\u00e9liorations. Quand il y a des faux pas (et il est quasi certain qu&rsquo;il y en aura), \u00e9coutez, apprenez et adaptez-vous.
