February 2020 was an important time for Jackie Geisler. The former personal trainer had just quit her job at a gym in order to launch her coaching business, Live Free Fitness<\/a>, full-time. \u201cI already had structure to my business, I already had clients, I already had recurring income coming in,\u201d she says. \u201cAnd so that was a blessing, because then the world just kind of crumbled because of COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early days of the pandemic, Geisler left New York City<\/a>, retreating to the home of her boyfriend\u2019s parents, where she worked out of their basement. \u201cIt was beautiful, and I’m so grateful for having that escape,\u201d she says. \u201cBut there were challenges and hurdles.\u201d Scheduling client calls around \u201cfamily dinner\u201d took some getting used to. <\/p>\n\n\n
