As vaccination numbers trend steadily upwards, industry experts, consultants and CEOs are wrestling with how to safely bring people back to the office. They are embracing some key strategies to update the property footprint they already have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most surveys indicate that people prefer a mixture of returning to the office and working remotely. It appears that the new working day is going to be a hybrid of going into the office and working from other places<\/a>. The situation presents a unique opportunity to rethink how offices are laid out<\/a> and function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This can be boiled down into three key usage strategies: de-densification, decentralising and turning the office into a collaboration hub. The strategies can be employed as standalone measures or used in combination. Here\u2019s a closer look at how one floor of an office can be transformed using these strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n
